Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Support in various dental specialties such as Endodontics, Pediatrics, Prosthodontics, and Four-handed dentistry.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting with hands-on experience in a dental clinic setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with X-Ray technology and procedures.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
- Previous experience in specialized areas such as Endodontics or Pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
