About Us
We are a growing independent pharmacy looking for an experienced, organized, and results-driven OTC / Front Store Inventory Manager to oversee our retail inventory, purchasing, merchandising, and front-end operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience from CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Duane Reade, or another high-volume retail pharmacy environment who wants greater responsibility and impact.
Applicant must bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Manage all OTC and front store inventory levels
- Place and monitor purchase orders with wholesalers and vendors
- Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
- Analyze sales trends and adjust inventory accordingly
- Identify fast-moving, seasonal, and underperforming products
- Create and maintain planograms and merchandising displays
- Monitor inventory turns, shrinkage, and expired products
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Negotiate with vendors and manage promotional opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase front-end sales
- Train and supervise front store staff on inventory procedures
- Work closely with pharmacy management to support overall business growth
QualificationsPreferred
- 2+ years of inventory management experience in a pharmacy retail setting
- Previous experience with CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Duane Reade, or similar retail pharmacy chains
- Strong understanding of OTC products, merchandising, and category management
- Experience with inventory management systems and purchasing platforms
- Proven ability to reduce inventory costs while maintaining product availability
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
