MPCF is looking to hire a full-time Storekeeper 3. This person will manage the day to day operations of the storeroom/warehouse for all MPCF inventory items.
Typical responsibilities of a Storekeeper 3:

Receive all shipments coming into the facility and verify them for accuracy.

Organize and assemble the daily food delivery needed to feed the institution.

Coordinate and deliver all supplies to various departments within the institution.

Keep accurate records of all inventory, receiving, and distribution of items.

Manage the warehouse/storeroom to keep all operations efficient, neat and orderly.
Competencies Required for a Storekeeper 3:

This is a physically challenging job that requires lifting, pushing and pulling various sizes of boxes and containers.

Applicants must be able to continually walk the warehouse floor as well as making multiple trips in and out of a delivery truck.

Must be able to drive a state-owned vehicle and operate a forklift.

Must be able to manage time and work independently to get a job done.

Must be willing to go inside a prison for deliveries on a daily basis.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
- Three years of full-time work experience in clerical, inventory, stores, supply, or warehousing work.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes twelve months of full-time work as a Storekeeper 2.
