Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
- Ensure all food is delivered accurately and promptly, maintaining presentation standards and temperature requirements.
- Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to keep dining areas tidy and inviting for guests.
- Support food preparation and service staff by passing dishes, refilling supplies, and managing in-person guest interactions.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when necessary.
- Handle food safely by adhering to food handling protocols and sanitation standards throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, kitchen, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, serving, and in-person customer service roles.
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during shifts.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience with cleaning, bussing tables, and supporting hospitality operations is advantageous.
