Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support a large, geographically dispersed employee population. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping drive strategic people initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, support organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong business partnership experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day HR support.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders across assigned business groups to provide strategic HR guidance and support organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement people strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational performance.
- Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of organizational changes and alignment with business priorities.
- Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, employee development, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR programs, processes, and operational efficiencies while delivering a positive employee experience.
- Manage HR projects from planning through execution, ensuring deadlines and business objectives are met.
- Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters by conducting workplace investigations, resolving employee concerns, and providing recommendations to leadership.
- Analyze workforce challenges, assess organizational needs, and recommend practical solutions that support business growth and operational effectiveness.
- Support talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, performance improvement, and career development strategies.
- Partner with leaders on compensation discussions and other workforce planning initiatives as needed.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure HR programs align with business needs and support organizational success.
- Promote collaboration across teams by encouraging knowledge sharing, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate the broader impact of business decisions and ensure people-related considerations are incorporated into planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Progressive Human Resources Business Partner experience supporting leaders in a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change management.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR initiatives and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams is preferred.
- Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
