Retail Sales Associate - Full-Time | Wilmington, NC
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina.
If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a fast-paced retail environment, this could be the perfect opportunity. Previous retail or customer-facing experience is welcomed but not required, as paid training is provided.
About the Role
As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll help create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, maintaining an organised sales floor, and supporting the daily operations of the store. You'll work alongside a friendly team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and achieving store goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
- Help customers find products that best meet their needs
- Process purchases, exchanges, and returns accurately at the register
- Replenish merchandise and maintain attractive product displays
- Keep the sales floor clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Answer customer questions about products, promotions, and store policies
- Assist with inventory counts and receiving new shipments
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or another customer-facing role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is a plus
