Job Title: AVP, Operations Supervisor

Summary: This role offers the opportunity to lead deposit operations, digital banking support, and treasury management support in a growing financial institution. The AVP, Operations Supervisor will help strengthen daily operations, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to new product and system implementations that improve the customer and employee experience.
This individual will work directly with the EVP, COO to ensure efficient and continuous daily operations of the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and completion of duties within the following areas: Deposits, CIF, ATM/EFT, Digital Banking, and Branch Operations;
- Ensure operational and administrative tasks are completed within defined timelines to include: Wire Transfers, Electronic Payments, Reject Items, NSF, Chargebacks, Reg E Claims, Check Adjustments, New Account Setup review and file maintenance, etc.;
- Review exception and compliance daily activity reports. Document research and resolutions as necessary. Report and collaborate with Compliance and Fraud when appropriate;
- Provide Teller, Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, and other systems support to customers and branch staff as needed;
- Work with the core system vendor and Information Technology to support end users and implement system changes related to the core processing system;
- Coordinate with other departments as needed to include Finance, Lending, and Information Technology.
- Develop and implement process workflows that support elevated end user and customer experiences.
- Directly support the EVP, COO with internal audit, implementation of new products and systems, and other projects as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge in all areas of deposit operations and applicable compliance regulations is necessary. Technical knowledge relating to relevant compliance regulations and best practices including, but not limited to: Reg E, CC, P, DD, GLBA, Identity Theft and Bank Secrecy Act;
- Previous experience supporting retail and commercial deposit products and services;
- Strong analytical skills; able to effectively assess risk, identify root cause of issues and implement operational changes;
- Ability to multi task and complete assignments with minimal supervision while adhering to timelines.
- Ability to lead change initiatives to meet required deadlines, both internal or regulatory.
- Strong project management or product implementation experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider appropriate work experience and/or certifications
- Minimum 7+ years banking experience within any of the following areas: branch operations, electronic payments, treasury management, deposit operations, digital banking or other similar back office department;
- Experience with COCC Insight core banking platform a plus;
- Specialized training or certification in areas such as: NACHA, Instant Payments, IRA/Retirement Accounts, or Fed Processing Regulations;
- Self-motivated, well organized and ability to work independently is critical;
- Attention to detail with excellent documentation and follow-up skills;
- Business software skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Spreadsheet Analysis, and other software tools necessary to prepare effective reports.
