Now Hiring Part-time/Flexible Schedule Roles — Join the Oat & Honey Coffee Co. Team
Oat & Honey is a mobile coffee cart servicing Los Angeles. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for reliable, creative, and motivated individuals to join our team. We’re currently hiring support both behind the scenes and at events. Based in Pasadena, CA but our events are mainly across LA.
Ideally, we’d love to find team members who are interested in combining multiple roles, such as:
- Operations Assistant + Barista — helping with behind-the-scenes business operations during the week while also assisting with events.
- Event Setup & Breakdown Crew + Barista/Barista Support — helping with the physical setup and breakdown of events while also assisting with serving drinks when needed.
(We are also open to filling these as separate roles)
Operations Assistant (1 role) - located near Pasadena, CA in person
We’re looking for someone who can help behind the scenes a few days each week. Responsibilities may include:
- Testing new recipes
- Assisting with event prep
- Organizing inventory and supplies
- Sending email marketing and researching new opportunities
- Brainstorming and creating social media content
- Occasionally assisting at events
We’re looking for someone who is creative, highly organized, takes initiative, and is excited about helping grow a small business.
Barista Team -
We’re looking to build a flexible team of around 5 baristas who can assist with events on an as needed basis.Responsibilities include:
- Preparing espresso and matcha beverages
- Providing great customer service
- Restocking during events
- Assisting with setup and breakdown
Coffee and matcha experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person who is reliable, eager to learn, and excited to join the Oat & Honey team.
Event Setup & Breakdown Crew — Hiring ASAP
This role focuses on the physical side of our events, including:
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Setting up our coffee cart and event space
- Transporting and organizing supplies
- Packing everything up after events
Ideally, we’re looking for a two-person crew who is comfortable with physical work, can lift heavier equipment, and can work efficiently as a team.Most support would be needed before and after events, primarily on weekends.
**MOST WORK WOULD BE ON WEEKENDS.
