Overview
Colonial Acres Nursing Home is seeking a driven, committed nurse to join our dynamic team as the Assistant Director of Nursing. Must possess current LPN or RN license in good standing.
Duties
- Main responsibilities include completion of timely and proficient MDS and resident care plans, and ownership of the facility's Infection Control and Wound Care programs. This is a multi-faceted job, perfect for an RN who are looking for a flexible and versatile work load. This position is considered part of the leadership team as this individual is critical for helping shape the culture and standards of the facility.
Skills
- Strong background in nursing administration and nurse management preferred.
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of resident rights and advocacy within a nursing home setting.
- Familiarity with MDS processes and medical record management preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and implement solutions effectively.
