Dishwasher / Food Prep Team Member

Big Fellas Restaurant is looking for an experienced, dependable Dishwasher / Food Prep Team Member to join our kitchen team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who works clean, moves quickly, follows health and sanitation standards, and brings a positive attitude to every shift.
Position Details
· Pay: $16.50–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience
· Hours: 15–26 hours per week ( 2-3 shifts guaranteed a week)
· Required availability: Friday and Saturday nights, 4:00 PM–11:30 PM, third shift for the week will vary days/times based on candidates availability.
· Location: Big Fellas Restaurant, Syracuse, NY
Responsibilities
· Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
· Properly operate and maintain a three-basin sink.
· Assist with basic food prep as needed.
· Keep dish area, prep areas, floors, and kitchen equipment clean and organized.
· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
· Take out trash approximately 4–5 times per shift.
· Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
· Complete opening, closing, and side work as assigned.
Requirements
· Previous dishwasher, food prep, or kitchen experience required.
· Must be fast, diligent, and clean.
· Must understand and follow proper health and sanitation standards.
· Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights from 4:00 PM–11:30 PM.
· Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
· Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
