You’ll be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in an elementary caseload. As a Clinical Fellow (CF), you’ll find a welcoming environment with comprehensive supervision, mentorship, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow—first-year SLPs are enthusiastically encouraged to apply. While this position cannot accommodate SLPAs, experienced SLPs and CFs will thrive here.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible South Carolina SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CF candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is valuable
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaboration with educational staff and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with elementary students, supporting their individual needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations for elementary students
- Developing individualized education plans and implementing effective interventions
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Collecting and maintaining thorough documentation of student progress
