Monmouth Executive Airport is seeking a full-time ground facility worker to join our on-site maintenance team.
Position Summary: Our Ideal candidate preserves and enhances the exterior appearance and safety of properties. Core duties include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, applying fertilizers/weed killer, removing debris, and operating power tools and snow removal equipment. It is an outdoor role. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs.
Essential Functions:
· Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
· Learn to operate mowing and snow removal equipment
· Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate
· Other duties and task as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
· Previous maintenance experience required
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
- Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Valid driver’s license and vision correctable to 20/20 is required
- Has own set of tools
A full benefits package is available with this position; 2 weeks PTO and full health insurance coverage, paid holidays. Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm.
