About Us
Astro Vinyl Art is a family-owned business that creates unique wall art from real vinyl records. We design, cut, frame, and sell our products in-house through our website, live events, art shows, and wholesale accounts.
We are looking to grow our wholesale business by placing our products in gift shops, record stores, music schools, college-town shops, smoke shops, game room stores, boutiques, and other retail locations that are a strong fit for our products.
Position Overview
We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative to help build and manage new wholesale accounts. This position is focused on calling, emailing, and following up with potential retail stores to introduce Astro Vinyl Art, explain our wholesale program, and help convert leads into customers.
This is a great role for someone who is outgoing, organized, confident on the phone, and motivated by commission-based earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Contact potential wholesale customers by phone, email, and online outreach
- Introduce Astro Vinyl Art and explain our products clearly
- Follow up with interested stores and help move them toward placing an order
- Build relationships with store owners, buyers, and managers
- Maintain organized notes on leads, conversations, and follow-ups
- Help create and maintain a list of potential wholesale accounts
- Work with management to improve sales scripts, outreach, and closing strategy
- Assist with customer questions about pricing, product options, and ordering
- Help grow long-term repeat wholesale business
Ideal Candidate
- Comfortable making phone calls and speaking with business owners
- Friendly, confident, and professional
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Organized and able to track follow-ups
- Good written communication skills
- Sales, retail, customer service, or telemarketing experience is a plus
- Interest in music, art, pop culture, retail, or small business is a plus
Compensation
This position includes:
- Base pay: approximately $10 per hour
- Commission on qualifying wholesale sales
- Bonus opportunities for opening new wholesale accounts
Commission structure will be discussed during the interview and may include bonuses based on wholesale order size, new customer accounts, and repeat business.
Schedule
Flexible part-time or full-time hours available. This position may be a good fit for someone looking for a weekday sales role with growth potential.
