Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Conduct floor care activities including polishing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality settings is a plus.
- Basic cooking skills are beneficial for roles involving meal preparation or kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
