The opportunity
For more than 22 years, iProcess Global Research has supported biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, CRO, government, and academic organizations through biospecimens, laboratory testing, and scientific operations, backed by a global network of collection sites across 40+ countries.
AxisOne.ai is an AI-native Research Operating System. It connects researchers with laboratories, scientific experts, and research services through a single platform supporting AI-assisted protocol development, laboratory discovery, workflow simulation, research execution, collaboration, and publication.
We are hiring a Director of Growth & Commercial Strategy to lead commercial growth for iProcess and drive market adoption of AxisOne. This is a builder’s role: you will identify opportunities, generate demand, close enterprise business, and establish the partnerships that define how each business grows.
Why this role matters
An established foundation. Two decades of scientific delivery, a global operational footprint, and an in-house scientific team stand behind every commitment you make to a customer. You are selling capability that already exists.
Executive access and speed. Pricing, positioning, feature priorities, and partnership terms are shaped directly with leadership. Decisions get made in days, not quarters.
A category being defined right now. How research gets specified, sourced, and executed globally is being rewritten. This is a chance to help write it, with the resources of an established company behind you.
What you'll own
1. Services revenue. Grow the iProcess business across biospecimens, laboratory testing, histopathology, molecular diagnostics, IVD performance studies, clinical studies, and research services. Core markets are mid-market biotech from Series A through pre-commercial, diagnostics companies, pharma , CROs, research institutions and companies building AI foundation models. You own these opportunities end to end: origination, scoping with our scientific team, proposal, negotiation, and close.
2. AxisOne adoption and scale. Drive growth on both sides of the platform — researcher registrations, paid subscriptions, enterprise customers, platform engagement, and marketplace activity on the demand side; laboratories and research service providers onboarded and actively quoting on the supply side. Build the strategy that makes AxisOne the preferred destination for outsourced scientific research.
3. Growth marketing. Design and run integrated commercial campaigns across outbound, LinkedIn, email, webinars, content, product launches, and the scientific conference calendar — AACR, ASCO, ADLM, SLAS, BIO, AMP, CAP. We fund what performs; you determine what that is.
4. Strategic partnerships. Build relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, CROs, diagnostics organizations, academic institutions, laboratory networks, scientific software companies, and industry associations, prioritizing partnerships that create measurable commercial value.
5. Commercial operations. Own and scale the commercial stack — HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, marketing automation, lead scoring, pipeline reporting, and growth analytics — and build the processes a growing commercial organization will run on.
Targets are set jointly at the outset and reviewed quarterly.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in enterprise sales, business development, partnerships, growth, or commercial leadership, with consistent achievement against revenue targets.
- Pipeline origination. You are as effective creating opportunity as you are closing it, and you can point to business that exists because you went and found it.
- Life sciences fluency. You have sold into biotech, pharma, diagnostics, CROs, healthcare, or scientific software, and you can hold a substantive conversation with a principal investigator or a VP of Translational Medicine.
- Scale experience. You have taken a product, platform, or service line from early traction to real scale, and you know the difference between activity and growth.
- Strategy and execution. Comfortable setting commercial strategy and then personally executing it — customer calls, partnership negotiations, campaign builds, and conference floors.
- AI in your workflow. You already use AI and automation for prospect research, buying-signal detection, personalized outreach, campaign optimization, and CRM productivity. We expect it to be part of how you work, not only what you sell.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customers, partners, and conferences.
Preferred: scientific SaaS, marketplaces, laboratory services, biospecimens, CRO services, clinical research, or research software platforms; depth in HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or marketing automation.
Who thrives here
- Builders rather than maintainers — you create opportunities instead of waiting for them.

- People equally at home in a scientific scoping call, a partnership negotiation, and a marketing planning session.
- Candidates based in or relocating to the Dallas–Fort Worth area; this role is in-person alongside our scientific and operations teams.
