WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
You will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by setting up and operating machines, monitoring their performance, and performing routine maintenance. You will also inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow all established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience of being a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and/or technical training in packaging machinery, plastic machinery preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
