Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, including child welfare, behavioral health, and family dynamics
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate child & family services, crisis intervention, and conflict management strategies
- Provide crisis management and crisis intervention support during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate social services and ensure comprehensive client care
- Support families through child protective services, working with culturally diverse communities to respect individual backgrounds
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools
- Offer guidance on legal matters such as family law when applicable, ensuring clients understand their rights and options
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities in a social work or related setting
- Knowledge of child welfare laws, child & family services, and high-risk population support protocols
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent writing skills for accurate documentation and report writing
- Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with behavioral health interventions preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for case management and record keeping
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve multicultural communities effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while managing conflict and behavioral health crises confidently

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
