Landscape Construction Manager
Seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Manager to oversee our commercial and residential landscape and irrigation installation projects.
This is a hands-on management position responsible for coordinating projects from scheduling and mobilization through completion. The right candidate will be innovative, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and crews, and comfortable working in the field alongside the team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and residential landscape construction projects from startup through completion
- Oversee both landscape and irrigation installation
- Schedule and coordinate multiple crews, projects, equipment, materials, and deliveries
- Manage daily and weekly crew schedules based on project priorities and deadlines
- Coordinate project logistics to ensure crews have the labor, equipment, materials, and information needed to perform efficiently
- Provide direction and leadership to foremen and field crews
- Monitor job progress, productivity, workmanship, and project schedules
- Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, builders, homeowners, vendors, and company leadership
- Identify potential project problems early and develop practical solutions
- Verify materials and equipment are ordered and available when needed
- Ensure landscape and irrigation installations meet company standards, plans, specifications, and customer expectations
- Maintain organized job sites and promote proper care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Enforce company safety policies and proper work practices
- Assist with troubleshooting landscape and irrigation installation issues
- Perform quality-control inspections throughout the project and prior to completion
- Assist with punch lists and project closeout
- Track project progress and communicate scheduling changes or potential delays
- Help train and develop foremen and crew members
- Perform physical landscape and irrigation work when necessary to support crews and keep projects moving
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape construction, irrigation construction, or a related field
- Previous experience supervising crews or managing field operations strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of landscape installation practices
- Working knowledge of irrigation installation, troubleshooting, and system components
- Ability to read and understand landscape and irrigation plans
- Strong scheduling, organizational, and logistical skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and changing priorities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and employees
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate trucks, trailers, landscape equipment, and construction equipment as required
- Basic computer and smartphone skills for scheduling, communication, documentation, and project management
Physical Requirements
This is not strictly an office or supervisory position. The Landscape Construction Manager will spend significant time in the field and must be willing and able to work alongside crews when necessary.
Position may require:
- Lifting and carrying landscape materials, plants, irrigation components, tools, and equipment
- Working outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather conditions
- Walking and standing for extended periods
- Bending, kneeling, digging, lifting, and performing other physical landscape construction activities
- Operating landscape and construction equipment

Pay: $52,058.32 - $62,693.89 per year
