Position :X-Ray Tech
Location: Charleston, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM EST
Weekend: Rotating weekends and holidays

Duties
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, and nuclear medicine devices to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them accurately, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Conduct specialized imaging procedures including mammography, DEXA scans for bone density assessment, PET scans, and interventional radiology techniques.
- Assist in emergency room settings and urgent care environments by providing rapid diagnostic imaging support for trauma and acute conditions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques during invasive procedures and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing training related to radiation safety and new imaging modalities.
Requirements
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) – Required
- South Carolina license – Required
