Note: The hours for this role are firm at M-F 8:30am-5pm to cover phones.
The Customer Service Team provides sales support for products and service that meet or exceeds customers’ expectations and customer service to internal and external customers while treating fellow employees, customers, and suppliers with dignity and respect. The individual in this position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
The individual in this position will be primarily responsible for:
- Answering customers calls, expediting customer requests, and investigating and resolving customer problems
- Building and maintaining customer and representative relationships
- Accurately and efficiently entering customer orders manually and electronically
- Providing fast and accurate information about products and specific orders to customers/representatives
- Gathering appropriate data required by customers/representatives
Interested candidates must possess the following qualifications to be considered for the position:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English communication
- Problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful interactions
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience
