Description of Duties:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment exteriors, floors, walls, and ceilings
- Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, offices, and other common areas
- Safely handle and dispose of waste, recyclables, and food by-products in accordance with company procedures
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation standards, and food safety guidelines
- Use approved cleaning chemicals and equipment properly and safely
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules as assigned
- Assist with deep cleaning and sanitation during shutdowns or scheduled maintenance
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or contamination risks to supervisors immediately
- Replenish cleaning supplies, PPE, and sanitation materials as needed
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation for audits and inspections
- Support pest control and contamination prevention efforts

Essential Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or sanitation experience (food manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
- Basic understanding of sanitation and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food safety standards (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organizational skills
