Robotic Welding Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay: $22.75/hour (Includes Shift Differential)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Training: 1–2 weeks on 1st Shift before transitioning to 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity
Snelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Robotic Welding Technician for a leading Louisville-area manufacturing company. This position is ideal for candidates with robotic welding experience who enjoy troubleshooting automated equipment, supporting production, and working in a modern manufacturing environment.
This role combines robotic cell operation, preventive maintenance, quality inspection, and technical troubleshooting to keep automated welding systems operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated robotic welding equipment.
- Load and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures while ensuring proper alignment.
- Inspect welded components for quality and verify proper weld completion.
- Troubleshoot robotic cell faults, alarms, and production interruptions.
- Assist with recovering equipment after faults or stoppages.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic welding equipment and fixtures.
- Clean and inspect tooling and fixtures to maintain quality standards.
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Monitor production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Complete production documentation and communicate equipment concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on welding experience.
- At least 2 years of robotic manufacturing or automated equipment experience.
- Experience operating or supporting robotic welding systems preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and measuring devices.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working around automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
