About the Role
We are seeking a Deburr Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing and refining precision aircraft components, ensuring parts meet exacting customer specifications. The position is suited for individuals with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality work. This role ranges from entry-level to journey-level responsibilities, with wages corresponding to experience and skill.
Key Responsibilities
- Drill, tap, and deburr precision-machined aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace components
- Safely set up and operate drills, presses, jigs, hand tools, and related equipment
- Maintain a clean work area, properly dispose of scrap, and return tools after use
- Review work orders, complete required documentation, and communicate job status to leads
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of aerospace or mechanical manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with hand tools, including die grinders, pencil grinders, and edge scrapers
- Ability to operate drill presses, drill jigs, and related shop equipment
- Blueprint reading, basic shop math, and GD&T knowledge
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to hold close tolerances
- Experience using precision measuring tools
