Position Summary
At Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux, our Bussers play a critical role in creating an exceptional dining experience by ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organized, and ready to serve every guest. Bussers work alongside servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while delivering genuine Southern hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities/Guest Experience
- Greet guests with a friendly attitude whenever interacting with them.
- Assist guests promptly with basic requests such as refilling water, providing extra napkins, or directing questions to the appropriate team member.
- Help create a clean, welcoming dining environment for every guest.
Dining Room Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and thoroughly according to Walk-On's standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked server stations.
- Sweep floors and keep dining areas free of debris throughout the shift.
- Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and trash promptly.
- Assist servers by delivering food when needed.
- Monitor dining room cleanliness, including booths, chairs, highchairs, and surrounding areas.
Team Support
- Assist servers, bartenders, and hosts during busy periods.
- Refill ice bins, beverage stations, condiments, and service supplies.
- Restock plates, silverware, cups, napkins, and other dining room necessities.
- Communicate effectively with management and teammates to ensure smooth operations.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team and provide excellent service.
Closing Responsibilities
- Complete assigned side work before leaving each shift.
- Deep clean assigned sections according to daily cleaning checklists.
- Empty trash and transport garbage to designated disposal areas.
- Sweep and mop assigned areas.
- Prepare the dining room for the next business day.
Qualifications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

- Ability to remain organized and prioritize tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
- Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and move quickly throughout the restaurant.
- Comfortable working in a busy, noisy environment.

Pay: $2.13 - $3.00 per hour
