We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Ice Cream Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our ice cream shop. The ideal candidate will lead staff, maintain excellent customer service, manage inventory and scheduling, and help create a fun, clean, and efficient environment for both customers and employees.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day shop operations
Hire, train, and supervise employees
Create employee schedules and manage labor costs
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
Handle opening and closing procedures
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
Monitor inventory and place supply orders
Handle cash management, POS system, and daily sales reporting
Resolve customer concerns professionally
Assist with social media promotions and local marketing efforts
Ensure all equipment is operating properly
Help increase sales through upselling and team motivation
Maintain compliance with health department regulations
Qualifications
Previous restaurant, café, or ice cream shop management experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation
Basic computer and POS system knowledge
Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
