Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and overall management of commercial real estate assets. Duties
- Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and low/high voltage systems are operating optimally.
- Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Manage facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems using schematics, electrical diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Coordinate HVAC system repair, electrical system upgrades, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance tasks with contractors or internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters; maintain detailed records of safety checks.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs through effective project management practices while adhering to safety standards.
- Monitor high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; perform electrical experience-based troubleshooting for complex issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation on facilities operations including schematics, maintenance logs, incident reports, and safety compliance records.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness by training team members on OSHA regulations and safe maintenance procedures.
Experience
- Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing facilities management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing facilities maintenance teams effectively while promoting teamwork and safety compliance.
- Knowledge of engineering troubleshooting techniques using tools such as ohmmeters; ability to read schematics for electrical or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations applicable to manufacturing or industrial settings; experience implementing safety protocols.
- Project management experience overseeing multiple facility-related projects from planning through completion.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English with excellent organizational skills; previous supervising experience is highly preferred.
