Job Summary:
Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a trusted healthcare provider in Middleborough, MA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests. This is a full-time opportunity with possible full-time options in the near future.
Qualifications:
One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility (preferred)
Experience in a hospitality environment, providing exceptional hospitality to our residents and guests
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with a proven record of dependable, regular attendance
Knowledge of dietary procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to safe food handling; willingness to obtain a Servsafe/Allergen awareness certificate within 90 days
Responsibilities:
Prepare food and ensure that quality food service is provided at all times
Consistently prepare all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station
Participate in all aspects of kitchen operation, including stocking, cleaning, dish washing, and sanitizing
Plan, prepare, cook, clean, and work with the dietary department to serve our residents
