Job Title: Legal Invoice Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402 (Hybrid)
Duration: 06+ Month Contract
In this critical role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of legal billing processes, helping law firms and vendors deliver transparent, compliant invoices. Your thorough review and expert assessments will directly impact our clients' payments and legal cost management, making this a highly impactful position for detail-oriented professionals with a legal background.
Required Skills:
- Strong legal knowledge and understanding of legal billing terminology and concepts
- Experience in invoice auditing or review, preferably within legal or professional services
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional written communication abilities, especially in professional correspondence
- Ability to conduct detailed peer reviews and make precise adjustments to invoices
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with legal billing guidelines and dispute resolution processes
- Experience in mediation or appeals related to legal invoices
- Proficiency with legal invoicing software and data analysis tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of prior experience in legal billing, quality assurance, or legal operations
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical precision
- Strong collaboration skills for engaging with law firm vendors and internal teams
