JOB
NOTE: An employee appointed to a position which will require the services of an employee, up to 40 hours per week, to perform seasonal work activities for a continuous period not exceeding one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.An employee in this class performs, coordinates assigned work crews in a variety of park security, custodial and maintenance activities at Pioneer and Meinert County Parks under the general supervision of higher level park personnel. The Park Crew Leader, oversees Park Rangers as they patrol areas to insure safe and orderly use of park facilities, processes registrations and accepts fees, grooms beaches, cleans camp sites and assists in routine maintenance activities. Employees in this class may be required to work any of three shifts including weekends and holidays and perform related duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed the General Education Development Test (GED); ANDHave one (1) season (3 calendar months) of paid work experience in a public parks agency or related field which shall include the use and maintenance of park equipment.2. Must be at least 18 years of age.3. Must possess a valid driver's license.

An offer of employment is contingent upon the results of the medical examination and drug screening test.
