Wild Willy's has been grilling burgers in York for a quarter century, and people drive in from three states to eat them. But here's the thing, they come back for the burgers and for the people behind the counter. That's this job. We're hiring Front of House Team Members to run our dining room: taking orders, mixing frappes and fresh fruit drinks, delivering food, and making sure every guest leaves feeling like a regular. What you'll do
- Greet guests, take orders at the counter and over the phone, and learn the menu cold (we'll teach you)
- Blend frappes, milkshakes, and fresh fruit drinks
- Run food and drinks to tables, and expedite call-ahead takeout orders
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the kitchen and your Shift Lead to keep the whole line moving
- Keep the place sharp, tables inside and out, restock coolers, cups, and food items, open and close the dining room
- Sell some merch while you're at it (tees, hoodies, hats)
You'll do well here if you
- Light up a little when someone walks in the door
- Stay steady when there's a line out to the parking lot
- Notice the thing that needs doing before anyone asks
- Can multi-task and know how to prioritize the right stuff
Experience strongly preferred but we've trained plenty of first timers into great servers, and love training up high school students (aged 16+) who want to learn and work hard!
