Job Title – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Contract - 14 weeks
Guaranteed Hours - 36 hr.
Pay rate - $36/hr. to $40/hr.
Location - Concord, NH
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, and home community care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with IV insertion and other medical procedures as required.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in hospice care and support for terminally ill patients when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in hospital medicine or home community care preferred.
- Familiarity with medical imaging processes is a plus.
- Experience working with children is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with nursing duties, including lifting patients when necessary.
