The Job: During each work week, you work locally or travel to one of our 19 markets and spend time counting occupied homes, homes under construction, etc., in subdivisions where new homes are being built. Using a GPS unit, you navigate from one new home subdivision to another. In each subdivision, you count homes and lots and enter that data and other findings into an Access database on a company-provided computer. Typically, about 40-50 subdivisions are audited in one day. On occasion, you collect data from the county Register of Deeds office.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency in a PC environment.
- Ability to travel out of town (by car and/or by plane).
- Provide driver’s license and clean 3-year driving record.
Benefits:
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour for up to 40 hours and overtime when applicable. Personal Time: determined based on the number of hours worked.
- Insurance: Eligible employees who have worked with the company for 60 days and work an average of 20 plus hours a week, and their spouse and/or dependent(s) qualify for employee-paid medical insurance and employer-employee paid dental and vision insurance.
- Long Term Disability Insurance: Employer-paid for eligible employees employed with the Company for 90 days and who work an average of 33 hours per week.
- Meal Per Diem: $40/day when traveling overnight.
- Cell Phone Reimbursement: $20 monthly.
- A company vehicle or rental car is provided for checking subdivisions.
- Computer provided.
- Travel costs are covered by the company (hotel, rental car, airfare).
