Customer Service Manager, Sales and Client Services

Vanguard Legal Group is a growing California Estate Planning firm seeking a driven, organized, and relationship-focused sales professional to join our Client Services team.
This is a performance-driven sales and client-service role where you'll speak with prospective and existing clients, identify their needs, guide them toward the appropriate services, and consistently move qualified opportunities forward.
Vanguard provides a steady flow of qualified leads and existing-client opportunities. Your responsibility is to follow up promptly, build trust, identify legitimate needs, and convert opportunities at a high level.

What You'll Do
Approximately 80% of this role involves sales conversations, follow-up, and appointment setting. The remaining responsibilities support effective client service and precise sales execution.
- Contact qualified leads and existing clients, email follow-up, and prompt responses to inbound inquiries.
- Build rapport, uncover client needs, recommend the appropriate next step, and convert qualified Estate Planning opportunities at a high percentage.
- Identify opportunities to introduce existing clients to advanced planning and additional Vanguard services.
- Schedule consultations, Trust Reviews, and related appointments while maintaining an organized and active sales pipeline.
- Enter clear, detailed, and timely notes in Zoho CRM, maintain accurate client records, and complete follow-up tasks consistently.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in phone sales, appointment setting, and customer service
- Experience working in a high-volume calling and task environment
- CRM data-entry and pipeline-management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure
- Strong self-motivation and a desire to achieve measurable results
- Willingness to receive coaching, implement feedback, and follow established processes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a unified team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business technology
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with older clients
- Experience balancing strong sales performance with accurate CRM, scheduling, and follow-up practices
- Experience using Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or a comparable CRM
- Estate Planning, legal services, financial services, or other high-trust professional services experience
