Performs intermediate skilled support work managing social media platforms, tracking the submission of advertisements in publications, updating, developing, and reviewing print and social content, notices, composing customer communications, managing the Welcome to the Neighborhood program, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Marketing Director.

Assists in the development of the agency’s media plan and manages and tracks the submission of advertisements in print/digital and the creation and execution of the social media content calendar
Updates, creates, and reviews marketing materials, advertisements, on-board/lobby notices, and other public-facing content, including engaging social media posts and videos.
Assists with answering customer questions via social media. Manages “Welcome Wagon” program, including maintaining database of new homeowners within the service area and mailing New Rider Kits containing service information, as well as New Rider Surveys
Assists with development and execution of email marketing program.
Assists with fundamental elements of Company’s Service Changes, including multiple reviews of schedule materials, organization of schedule closet and maintenance area, and bulk order requests
Assists with event planning, including marketing and event registration.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and moderate experience in managing advertisement schedules, customer communications, social media, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
General knowledge of marketing; general knowledge of current communications and marketing tools, technology, platforms, and practices particularly with social media; general knowledge of writing and editing for a variety of print and digital communications, including marketing collateral, and print/digital publications; general knowledge of organization rules, regulations and practices and procedures. General knowledge of social media practices.
Skill in content creation; skill with common marketing applications; skill in the use of personal computers, associated software packages, hardware, and peripheral equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to troubleshoot and develop basic digital solutions; ability to edit efficiently and accurately; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with business and community leaders, executive management, other departments, outside agencies, and the general public.
