Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. Duties
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, thermostats, and compressors
- Perform appliance repair tasks including servicing refrigerators, air conditioning units, and other appliances as needed
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate accurate repairs
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or expansions
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or installation projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively
- Hands-on experience in HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Knowledge of construction practices is a plus but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate with external contractors
- Excellent communication skills to document work accurately and follow safety protocols diligently
