Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team, with offices located in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. This role requires ownership of a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to various office locations on different days as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support the mental well-being of our clients. This position requires possession of a vehicle and ability to commute to different locations on different days.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, including those with PTSD, autism, and addiction issues.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes.
- Provide telehealth services to ensure accessibility for clients unable to attend in-person sessions.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a psychologist.
- Experience in PSTD counseling.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices including crisis intervention, psychological testing, and patient assessment.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
