Job Overview
We are seeking a safety-minded Lube Truck Driver / Field Technician to service our active fleet of construction and excavation machinery. In this role, you will be operating a fuel truck to complete scheduled maintenance and fueling directly at project field sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine lubrication, oil changes, and fluid top-offs (hydraulic, transmission, engine) on earthmoving equipment like excavators, dozers and off-road trucks.
- Navigate a bulk-tank service vehicle through high-traffic highways and rugged job site terrains.
- Conduct multi-point checkups, swap oil/air filters, pull fluid samples for analysis and grease all critical machine pivots.
- Complete strict DOT pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain service and fuel distribution logs.
- Handle hazardous petroleum products safely, adhering to OSHA and EPA safety requirements.
Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- HAZMAT endorsement required due to bulk liquid hauling.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, drag heavy hoses, and climb onto large machinery.
- Ability to pass a mandatory DOT drug screen, physical exam, and criminal background check.
- 1 - 3 years of experience operating heavy commercial vehicles or working directly with heavy equipment maintenance.
