Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) — Early Intervention, Ages 0–3

Overview
FMRC Health Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers, ages 0–3, in their natural home environments across the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. This is an opportunity to join a clinician-owned, multidisciplinary practice (OT, PT, Speech, Child Development) and provide individualized, developmentally focused care during the most critical window of a child’s development.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement personalized, PT-directed treatment plans for infants and toddlers
- Facilitate therapeutic exercises and play-based interventions to improve gross motor skills, mobility, and overall development
- Educate and coach families on techniques and strategies to support their child’s progress between sessions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging therapy environment in the home setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care
- Complete accurate, timely documentation and data collection using standardized templates and our proprietary AI-powered EMR
Qualifications
- Current California PTA license (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Experience with or strong interest in pediatric populations, particularly ages 0–3
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy practices relevant to early childhood development
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and colleagues
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to meaningful outcomes
- Ability to work independently in home settings and collaboratively across a care team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation
