Dakota Steel and Trim, Inc. has been open since 1992, is family owned, and was the first privately incorporated Roll Former in South Dakota.
As a Driver for Dakota Steel & Trim, LLC, you are the face of our company when you meet customers at the delivery sites. The responsibilities of a Driver are to run delivery routes and back-hauls. You will be delivering metal panels, trim and accessories and unloading them at customer job sites and facilities. We use truck and trailer Conestoga flatbeds as well as pickup trucks with goosenecks. You will spend an average of 2 nights out a week and get paid by the mileage and the drop. For the 60-day training period, you will be paid salary.
Qualified Candidates:
- Have flatbed experience, preferably with Conestoga trailers
- Have a Class A CDL in good standing
- Experience driving a Moffett forklift preferred - will be used to unload at delivery site
- Familiarity with eLog is a plus
- Eligible to work in the United States
Physical Requirements of the job:
- Lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Meet all DOT CDL requirements
