Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Support daily quality operations by identifying opportunities for process improvement and maintaining strong quality standards throughout manufacturing
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for internal and external quality issues, utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies
Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, including documentation, investigation, implementation, and effectiveness reviews
Analyze quality data, trends, and production metrics to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Create, maintain, and improve quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection standards, and quality records
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, production, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions
Support customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution through effective communication and technical problem solving
Assist with process improvements, validation activities, and manufacturing changes to ensure product quality and consistency
Participate in audits and support compliance with quality management systems and industry standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline) required
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of quality tools including RCA, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and drive corrective actions to completion
