Job Description:
Our family owned and award-winning Senior Living Community, is searching for mature, reliable, and capable individuals to join our housekeeping department. We have full and part time positions available in a remarkable environment where you are valued and make a difference! We are seeking a positive, compassionate, and outgoing individual to assist with light desk duties and maintaining the cleanliness of our beautiful property. Duties include housekeeping, answer phones, answering pages and assisting resident with their needs and inquiries.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning services including sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and other services typically required to maintain the beautiful condition of community spaces
- Assist residents with their needs, and manage requests with kindness and patience
- Document incidents within the community; notify management accordingly
- Communicate any needs for repairs or maintenance attention; notify management immediately
- Perform duties as needed and assigned
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and deliver excellent work quality
- Manage situations with calm, reason, and in accordance with company policies and expectations
- Prioritization and time management skills; ability to work effectively and efficiently
- Willing to pick up shifts when necessary
- Physical strength and stamina to provide required services, lift equipment and supplies, and occasionally move furniture: this is an active position
- Must be able to push, pull or carry ~ 50 pounds
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old; dependable, punctual, and have reliable transportation
- High school graduate or vocational training preferred; English fluency required
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
