Maintain a rolling 10–14 week Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on forecasted demand, sales input, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Lock the production schedule 14 days prior to the production start date (“T-14”).
Lead weekly production planning reviews and coordinate cross-functional input from Sales, Procurement, QA, and Operations.
Proactively identify and resolve mid- to long-term production constraints, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze historical and forecasted trends to optimize batch size, sequencing, and changeover efficiency.
Ensure alignment of the MPS with raw material purchasing timelines and availability.
Collaborate with the Production Scheduler to ensure a seamless weekly handoff and shared visibility of locked and upcoming plans.
Support capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scheduling conflicts and improve operational agility.
Escalate critical constraints, supply risks, or forecast misalignments to senior management as needed.
Maintain accurate and auditable records of the MPS, planning assumptions, and scheduling decisions.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and internal quality standards.
