Paul Davis Restoration of Virginia Beach, VA, is locally owned operation of Paul Davis, servicing southside Hampton Roads. Join our fast-growing startup! As a startup office, we are looking for dynamic and self-driven individuals who want to learn, grow, and advance their career with us.
You will assist with daily office operations in support of the general manager and owner. This role will be trained to manage job costing in DASH/RMS and QuickBooks to ensure proper accounting records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily franchise operations in coordination with the general manager and owner.
- Collecting Claims/Loss Information – possesses strong listening and communication skills, asks questions and monitors various aspects of the business to detect problems
- Job Costing: Help manage all phases of job costing within DASH/RMS and QuickBooks. Ensure all job costs follow accounting guidelines. Maintain all accounting, computer and financial records
- Public Relations – the ability to easily establish a rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents and fellow employees.
- Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology. Communicate empathetically with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Maintain updated Workplace Safety certificates & insurance coverage for subcontractors
- Monitor timesheets and process payroll
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a dedication to customer service.
- Experience or knowledge in QuickBooks, accounting principles, job costing, debits and credits and how they work, is a plus
- Prior DASH/RMS experience is a plus
