Morabito Family Dental is an independent, family-owned, and family-run practice. We operate a highly successful, fast-paced facility, but despite our size and growth, we have fiercely protected our heartbeat: our family values and our close-knit culture. We genuinely care about creating a workplace where our team is supported, balanced, productive, and happy to show up every day.
Because our team is expanding, we are looking for a dedicated People & Culture Manager to help look after our team. This is a role designed for someone who thrives in a private organization - someone who loves having the autonomy to build real relationships, shape an extraordinary employee experience, and see the direct impact of their work every day.
This is not a traditional HR role. You'll become the operational right hand to our Director of Operations, helping shape the future of our team while ensuring the systems behind our people continue to grow alongside our practice.
If you love building systems that support human beings, keeping a busy office running smoothly, and leading with a servant’s heart, we want to welcome you into our practice family.
The Mission of Your Role
You will own the entire employee journey from a candidate's very first phone interview through onboarding, continuous training, daily appreciation, and long-term retention. You will also work side-by-side as the primary administrative partner to our Director of Operations to ensure our business operations run smoothly and compliantly.
Core Responsibilities:
- Hiring & Onboarding: Review applications on Indeed, handle phone screens, coordinate working interviews, and build an exceptional onboarding experience.
- Culture & Retention: Design employee appreciation initiatives, milestone celebrations, team events, and internal engagement surveys to keep morale high.
- Training & Performance: Coordinate quarterly check-ins and growth meetings, track employee goals, and manage our internal digital training platform (Trainual).
- Schedules & Logistics: Build and publish the master team schedules, process PTO requests, and coordinate daily call-outs or practice coverage.
- HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain organized physical and digital personnel files, update the employee handbook, and manage routine OSHA and HIPAA compliance tracking.
- Executive Support: Assist the Director of Operations by managing leadership calendars, prepping meeting agendas, and tracking project deadlines.
Who You Are:
Highly Organized: You love clear systems, data tracking, and managing master schedules.
- An Empathetic Leader: You navigate workplace conversations and conflict resolution with grace, clarity, and professionalism.
- Experienced: You bring a solid background in HR, office/practice management, or high-level executive support (Private practice or small business experience is a major plus).
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary ($60,000 – $80,000 based on experience) + bonus opportunities
- Comprehensive health and dental benefit packages
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
- A stable, family-centered work environment where your voice is heard.
We believe people grow best when they're challenged, coached, and genuinely cared for. If you're passionate about helping others reach their potential while continuously growing yourself, you'll fit right in.
