Commercial Flooring Installer Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Union Flooring Installers to join our Commercial Installation team. Experience is always a plus, but we will give opportunities to the right candidates to go through the union Apprentice program. You will install a variety of flooring materials such as, carpet tile, broadloom carpet, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl plank, VCT, stair treads, and more. Candidates with experience in flooring installation, and/or commercial construction is preferred.
Flooring Installer Duties and Responsibilities

Assess work sites to determine possible issues and make recommendations accordingly

Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old hardware like screws and bolts

Use hand and power tools to install flooring materials according to client specifications

Work alongside other installers while emphasizing safety and efficient use of time and materials

Inspect finished work to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest possible standards of work
Requirements:
Flooring Installer Requirements and Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED certificate

Floor Covering experience preferred

Physical stamina and the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds

Reliable transportation

Keen attention to detail
-
Qualified individuals must be able to pass a post offer drug test and background check.
Schedule

Schedules very, but most of the time it is Monday through Friday 6am – 2pm. Applicants will need to have the ability to work some nights and weekends when needed.

Salary: From $50,000-80,000
