Painters wanted
I need two more painters on my crew, starting as soon as I find the right people. This is a real job with a real name attached to it — I'm Steve Lockwood, I run Lockwood Finishes Inc. , and I'll be the one interviewing you.
Pay: $18–$25/hour depending on experience, paid weekly. Full-time, 30-40 hrs/week.
We do interior and exterior residential painting around the Springfield area. Most days you'd be prepping surfaces, taping, sanding, patching, and rolling or spraying paint on houses in the area — not a warehouse, not a factory line.
Never painted professionally? That's fine. I'll train you. If you've got experience, tell me what you've worked on and I'll pay accordingly.
What I actually need from you: Show up on time, every day. Own transportation to get to job sites (I'll give you the addresses each morning). Able to be on your feet and on a ladder most of the day. Care about doing clean work — homeowners notice the difference between a rushed job and a good one.
