Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the collision repair shop, including workflow coordination and staff supervision
- Lead auto body repair projects from estimation to completion, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
- Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to accurately assess repairs and communicate with clients
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment while maintaining strict safety protocols and PPE use
- Conduct defect root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues in collision repairs and improve processes
- Coordinate with clients to provide updates on repair progress and handle inquiries professionally
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations specific to collision repair shops, including proper handling of paints, auto glass, aluminum, metal fabrication materials, and auto painting processes
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or collision repair shop management experience with a strong background in automotive body work repairs
