Job Summary
Wellness Chiropractic is looking for a motivated, energetic Spinal Decompression & Rehab Assistant to join our corrective care team.
This is a hands-on position working directly with patients who are undergoing spinal decompression, corrective chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise programs.
The right person is confident working with people, understands basic anatomy and movement, takes direction well, and genuinely enjoys helping patients improve their function and quality of life.
You will work under the direction and supervision of our licensed chiropractors and assist in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the moment the patient enters the rehab area until their treatment is complete.
Responsibilities
- Set up and assist patients with spinal decompression treatments according to protocols established by the supervising doctor
- Assist with corrective exercise, spinal remodeling, stretching, mobility work, electric muscle stimulation, and other therapeutic activities
- Perform muscle rehabilitation and exercise instruction as directed by the clinic doctors
- Guide patients through prescribed rehabilitation exercises with proper form and technique
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and communicate any concerns or changes to the supervising doctor
- Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress
- Educate patients on doctor-prescribed home exercises, stretches, and self-care recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment and rehabilitation area
- Help keep patients moving efficiently through the office while still providing personal, attentive care
- Work closely with our doctors and clinical team to provide a consistent, high-level patient experience

Preferred Background
Candidates with any of the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Certified Personal Trainer
- NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar fitness certification
- Exercise Science or Kinesiology
- Physical therapy or rehabilitation
- Chiropractic or sports medicine
- Strength and conditioning
- Athletic training
- Occupational health or physical medicine
An Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, movement, and basic medical terminology preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable assisting and coaching patients through physical exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Previous experience in a healthcare, fitness, rehab, or wellness environment is a plus
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant preferred, but not required.
Compensation
Starting Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, and skill set.
This is a starting compensation range, with opportunities for increased pay based on performance, growth within the position, and expanded responsibilities.
Bonus potential is also available for team members who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, patient care, and contribution to the growth of the practice.
