Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director of Assisted Living to lead our community with vision, integrity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive leadership skills, a deep understanding of long-term care regulations, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. This role involves overseeing all aspects of facility management, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and resident care to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the assisted living community, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care and assisted living facilities.
- Supervise and manage care facility teams, including nursing staff, caregivers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory care.
- Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, financial planning, and healthcare financial management to maintain fiscal health of the community.
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies while maintaining high standards of safety, medication administration protocols, and resident well-being.
- Maintain effective communication with residents’ families regarding care plans and community updates; promote resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, scheduling, and administrative tasks to support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within assisted living or nursing home settings with a focus on senior care or long-term care administration.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies related to assisted living facilities, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising multidisciplinary teams within residential or group home environments.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial operations.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes and compliance with safety protocols.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is advantageous.

Pay: $53,519.57 - $70,475.18 per year
