Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license and experience in route driving, with a focus on maintaining safety and efficiency throughout the delivery process. Must also pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background screen.
Duties
- Safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Unload packages at each location.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Deliver packages to customers’ locations while providing exceptional customer service
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
- Saturdays are a required work day
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with route driving expertise
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of packages
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
